The Egespor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Birol Türköne put in a rough tackle. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK! In the 19th minute, Rudy Pérus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özgün Hamurcu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 23rd minute of the match, Birant Eroğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Özgün Hamurcu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Özgün Hamurcu was a little too slow when Bartosz Puch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Eroğlu in the 33rd minute of play. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Puch in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birant Eroğlu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özgün Hamurcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Özgün Hamurcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birant Eroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sufi Akdoğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birant Eroğlu in the 43rd minute of play forced MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Sufi Akdoğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sufi Akdoğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Sacit Kayraalp got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rudy Pérus made the kick off in the second half. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Puch in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's zone, Birant Eroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özgün Hamurcu came out of the goal and Birant Eroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cumhur Vaha kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK defense, Birant Eroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özgün Hamurcu. The MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özgün Hamurcu should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Bartosz Puch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özgün Hamurcu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birant Eroğlu in the 67th minute of play. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Puch in the 69th minute of play. Hasret Tansu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Ulubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sufi Akdoğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Türkeş Batüralp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birant Eroğlu in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özgün Hamurcu saved MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Egespor got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Leper. 81 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Kutlu Sefik came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Bartosz Puch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özgün Hamurcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Pérus in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Yaman Çakmur hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rudy Pérus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egespor's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Pérus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özgün Hamurcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Özgün Hamurcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudy Pérus went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Rudy Pérus came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Egespor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Pérus couldn't finish the play. Özgün Hamurcu came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Egespor's Birant Eroğlu. But to his dismay, Birant Eroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Egespor fully deserved thier win.
