After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Adem Yavuzhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barış SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Adem Yavuzhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekai Hiçsönmez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 played minutes Barış SK got a freekick which was hit by Fahrettin Tecmil. If Veysel Türehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adem Yavuzhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Veysel Türehan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zekai Hiçsönmez saved IstanBulls FC from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Veysel Türehan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zekai Hiçsönmez. Veysel Türehan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Adem Yavuzhan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Barış SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adem Yavuzhan couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Barış SK's Adem Yavuzhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zekai Hiçsönmez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Veysel Türehan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veysel Türehans short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Zekai Hiçsönmez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arif Burak Vefai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Zekai Hiçsönmez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Barış SK booed when IstanBulls FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acun Subahi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Veysel Türehan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Veysel Türehan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zekai Hiçsönmez was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After having played for 57 minutes, Veysel Türehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barış SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veysel Türehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in IstanBulls FC's zone, Adem Yavuzhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zekai Hiçsönmez came out of the goal and Adem Yavuzhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gazi İlkay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veysel Türehan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the IstanBulls FC defense, Adem Yavuzhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zekai Hiçsönmez. The IstanBulls FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zekai Hiçsönmez should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Veysel Türehan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zekai Hiçsönmez saved IstanBulls FC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, IstanBulls FC's goal looked a bit too open when Başaran Geçim came free, but Zekai Hiçsönmez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zekai Hiçsönmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veysel Türehan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IstanBulls FC's Zekai Hiçsönmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Burak Vefai in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Orbay Ahmetoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fahrettin Tecmil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veysel Türehan struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Zekai Hiçsönmez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barış SK. In the 87th minute, Orbay Ahmetoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Başaran Geçim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zekai Hiçsönmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veysel Türehan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zekai Hiçsönmez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Barış SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
