Yüce Recep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Zekai Hiçsönmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zekai Hiçsönmez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necaettin Yordam, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Yüce Recep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Hiçsönmez having to interfere. IstanBulls FC's Zekai Hiçsönmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necaettin Yordam in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Lemi Terim put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zekai Hiçsönmez. After 21 played minutes ⓑⓔşⓘⓚⓣⓐş got a freekick which was hit by Halit Ziya Belge. In the 22nd minute, Orbay Ahmetoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tuncay İlter struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ali Kağan Onal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IstanBulls FC. Yüce Recep hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Tuncay İlter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes ⓑⓔşⓘⓚⓣⓐş got a freekick which was hit by Halit Ziya Belge. A collision led to ⓑⓔşⓘⓚⓣⓐş getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ersan Tekay hit a great ball. When Orbay Ahmetoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IstanBulls FC's protests and gave Orbay Ahmetoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, IstanBulls FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orbay Ahmetoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Necaettin Yordam might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zekai Hiçsönmez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necaettin Yordam ran back to his position shaking his head. After 34 minutes of play, ⓑⓔşⓘⓚⓣⓐş's Necaettin Yordam made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zekai Hiçsönmez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zekai Hiçsönmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necaettin Yordam in the 44th minute of play. Necaettin Yordam might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zekai Hiçsönmez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necaettin Yordam ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necaettin Yordam to make the kick off. Necaettin Yordam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zekai Hiçsönmez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Yüce Recep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Hiçsönmez having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Necaettin Yordam dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zekai Hiçsönmez, 0-4. If Necaettin Yordam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Orbay Ahmetoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Necaettin Yordam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zekai Hiçsönmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Yüce Recep recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zekai Hiçsönmez. Yüce Recep showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Necaettin Yordam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Fikri Keskiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Tuncay Enfal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⓑⓔşⓘⓚⓣⓐş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuncay Enfal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Necaettin Yordam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zekai Hiçsönmez made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Halit Ziya Belge sent off a good shot on target. When Necaettin Yordam came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ⓑⓔşⓘⓚⓣⓐş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necaettin Yordam couldn't finish the play. Yüce Recep was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Yüce Recep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fikri Keskiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
