The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Seyrani Abide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mürsel Özgur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Sualp having to interfere. Remzi Sualp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mürsel Özgur in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Birsel Oğuralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birsel Oğuralp in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remzi Sualp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Okan Değer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Numan Onur came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Numan Onur couldn't finish the play. Saadettin Vahapoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Numan Onur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saadettin Vahapoğlu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş's Güray Unat. But to his dismay, Güray Unat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Mürsel Özgur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavdarhisar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mürsel Özgur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mürsel Özgur succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Cavdarhisar's Ferit Besim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remzi Sualp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Birsel Oğuralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi Sualp having to interfere. Remzi Sualp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mürsel Özgur in the 29th minute. The supporters of Cavdarhisar booed when Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandemir Başarman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cavdarhisar's Birsel Oğuralp got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 34 in the game by Birsel Oğuralp from a close distance when the talented Remzi Sualp managed to make a qualified save. Çanakkale Spor Kulübü A.Ş's players were relieved. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birsel Oğuralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Birsel Oğuralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remzi Sualp was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. A hard shot by Halit Fahri Karaman from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Saadettin Vahapoğlu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Remzi Sualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birsel Oğuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ferit Besim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Remzi Sualp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güray Unat scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saadettin Vahapoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Birsel Oğuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi Sualp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cavdarhisar were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
