GARANBIRLIK SPOR's Nuh İçten quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hüsrev Hayırlı, made in the 31st minute of the game. Sungurbey Özgiray's late challenge caught a GARANBIRLIK SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sungurbey Özgiray helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Tokatspor got a freekick which was hit by Sungurbey Özgiray. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hafiz Terzioğlu in the 34th minute of play forced GARANBIRLIK SPOR's goalkeeper Ünsal Devlettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tokatspor's goalkeeper Tibet Ilgıt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cüneyt Tümerkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tibet Ilgıt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cüneyt Tümerkan ran back to his position shaking his head. Tibet Ilgıt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Orhan Özinan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, GARANBIRLIK SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuh İçten to maneuver through the defense. The goalkeeper, Tibet Ilgıt, was totally fooled by GARANBIRLIK SPOR's Rauf Hürkan, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match was over GARANBIRLIK SPOR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tokatspor throughout the match.
