The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ordu booed when Akcaabat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Seyyit Olcaytug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erhun Tuğaltan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halim Harmanda in the 10th minute. Halim Harmanda spun around in front of the goal 22 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ordu's goal. Halim Harmanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Erhun Tuğaltan made a huge save. Mithat Olgun kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Rıfkı Lema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Akcaabat's zone, Hamdullah Yetkiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk came out of the goal and Hamdullah Yetkiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akcaabat's Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Sanal in the 44th minute of play. Kunter Orsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Erhun Tuğaltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdullah Yetkiner was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ferhat Sanal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Ferhat Sanal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mücahit Ozansu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamdullah Yetkiner in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferhat Sanal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Halim Harmanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halim Harmanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Tuğaltan having to interfere. Akcaabat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
