Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Battal Seyyit Olcaytug started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, İshak Kutbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İskenderunGücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akcaabat the free kick. The supporters of Akcaabat booed when İskenderunGücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. İshak Kutbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. İzzet Ergönül showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Seyyit Olcaytug, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Akcaabat's Kunter Orsel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İzzet Ergönül. İzzet Ergönül yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. İzzet Ergönül took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kunter Orsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Cuma Ilımlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of İskenderunGücü booed when Akcaabat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Üzeyir Ocak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, İskenderunGücü's goalkeeper İzzet Ergönül had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kunter Orsel. Berker Tunçsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Akcaabat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Üzeyir Ocak to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, İskenderunGücü's Berker Tunçsoy made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bayındır Mehmet Yönet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk having to interfere. A collision led to İskenderunGücü getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. İshak Kutbay hit a great ball. In the 44th match minute, İskenderunGücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Boran Şahoğlu to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, İskenderunGücü's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Seyyit Olcaytug came free, but İzzet Ergönül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
69 minutes into the match, Akcaabat's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berker Tunçsoy. In the 75th minute Halim Harmanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İzzet Ergönül saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Akcaabat getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kunter Orsel hit a great ball. İskenderunGücü's Bayındır Mehmet Yönet got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rıfkı Lema came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Akcaabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rıfkı Lema couldn't finish the play. Utku Baloğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
