Sadettin Hızlı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sadettin Hızlı in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk saved Akcaabat from getting behind. Okanalp Aktan made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Halim Harmanda sent off a good shot on target. Akcaabat's Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazım İltekin in the 30th minute of play. Sadettin Hızlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Akcaabat's goal looked a bit too open when Sadettin Hızlı came free, but Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sadettin Hızlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Ödemis players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
