The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Akcaabat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Harmanda to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş sped through Akcaabat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk. 17 minutes into the match, Akcaabat's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş came free, but Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Kunter Orsel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akcaabat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baglarbasi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Akcaabat's Kunter Orsel got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to Akcaabat getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Battal Seyyit Olcaytug hit a great ball. The Baglarbasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Akcaabat getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rıfkı Lema hit a great ball. Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk having to make a save. Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Halim Harmanda notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Baglarbasi's Sarp Demirci. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes Baglarbasi got a freekick which was hit by Fikret Siyami. Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş in the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Mehmet Oğuz Ulaş lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Mehmet Ali Soysaltürk.
