When Kazım İltekin fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ödemis's protests and gave Kazım İltekin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK booed when Ödemis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazım İltekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ödemis defense, Elmu Velling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanalp Aktan. In the 67th minute, Tayfur Tecik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. There was no doubt that NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK were the better team. NOVAFENERBAHÇE SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
