Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Azim Arıhan in the 4th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Seyfullah Akçiçek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Azim Arıhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seyfullah Akçiçek. GALATASARAY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Azim Arıhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Seyfullah Akçiçek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lemi Muhteşem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Lemi Muhteşem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyfullah Akçiçek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raik Tamer in the 21st minute. Mehmet Edip Cansefa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Raik Tamer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raik Tamer kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 29thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Saricakaya's keeper Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. GALATASARAY's Seyfullah Akçiçek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azim Arıhan in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's Raik Tamer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Israel Ortle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk, 1-1. In the 45th minute, Raik Tamer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Ortle made a kick off. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Tamer in the 57th minute of the match. Seyfullah Akçiçek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lemi Muhteşem, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Behzat Kirmanşah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Edip Cansefa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azim Arıhan got free with Seyfullah Akçiçek in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Saricakaya got a freekick which was hit by Derya Hanefi. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raik Tamer in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Bektaş Ali Bozbey got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Raik Tamer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Ortle came free, but Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the GALATASARAY players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
