After 20 played minutes Akköy JK got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Onur Gürtuna. The long shot by Abdulbaki Koca in the 20th minute really tested Garip Yura's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 23rd minute Menderes Tuğaltan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahtiyar Taymaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahtiyar Taymaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bektaş Veli Okaner in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Akköy JK booed when Akköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position.
