Caleb Higson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk having to interfere. Ayberk Pehlivan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Bayındır Mehmet Erdem notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Saricakaya's Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saricakaya's Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Saricakaya from getting a goal against them. If Caleb Higson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Derya Hanefi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bahtiyar Taymaz. Akköy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Derya Hanefi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Akköy's Bahtiyar Taymaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azim Arıhan in the 39th minute of play. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulbaki Koca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayındır Mehmet Erdem hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With his leg Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Akköy's Bayındır Mehmet Erdem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 minutes, Derya Hanefi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saricakaya and the Akköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lemi Muhteşem made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Azim Arıhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bahtiyar Taymaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Abdulbaki Koca scored 3-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bayındır Mehmet Erdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Lemi Muhteşem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saricakaya and the Akköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Lemi Muhteşem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahtiyar Taymaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Hanefi in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Akköy's Bahtiyar Taymaz got control of the ball when Derya Hanefi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akköy. 82 minutes into the game, Akköy's Ayberk Pehlivan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nusrettin Yıldırımtürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The supporters of Saricakaya booed when Akköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Atıf Lemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zikri Yerel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Akköy's Bahtiyar Taymaz got control of the ball when Derya Hanefi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Abdulbaki Koca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akköy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
