In the 3rd minute, Arif Burak Yağızkan had to leave the field with a concussion. Hatemi Saykal charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hatemi Saykal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, one of Plato SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Plato SK. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for GALATASARAY SK. Gustavo Telesforo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mehmet Bedri Cenger. 1-0. In the 11th minute Ahmet Kağan İzhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güralp Balcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Plato SK's Muhammet Seylab made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güralp Balcan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Gökhun Nurullah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mehmet Bedri Cenger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ahmet Nedim Okkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Orhan İhtişam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mehmet Bedri Cenger made a huge save. Mümin Yağızer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mehmet Bedri Cenger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY SK's Güralp Balcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayezit Semih in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Mehmet Edip Orkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plato SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Edip Orkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

With a little luck, GALATASARAY SK's Güralp Balcan got control of the ball when Mehmet Edip Orkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plato SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Bedri Cenger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehmet Edip Orkan came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Güralp Balcan could save by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Mümin Yağızer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Bedri Cenger. Plato SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mümin Yağızer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 71 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Güralp Balcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Edip Orkan. In the 72nd match minute, Plato SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sami Uçanok to maneuver through the defense. Beyhan Çol struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mehmet Bedri Cenger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY SK. Güralp Balcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhammet Seylab in the 81st minute. Muhammet Seylab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Bedri Cenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümin Yağızer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Plato SK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bayezit Semih hit a great ball. Plato SK's Mehmet Bedri Cenger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beyhan Çol in the 95th minute of play. Mehmet Bedri Cenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beyhan Çol in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GALATASARAY SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Plato SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
