Abdulkerim Cintay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan İhtişam in the 11th minute of play. GALATASARAY SK's Güralp Balcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Hakkı Kayrak in the 14th minute of play. Abdulkerim Cintay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümin Yağızer, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY SK's Mümin Yağızer got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to GALATASARAY SK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ali Orhan İhtişam hit a great ball. Abdulkerim Cintay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mümin Yağızer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Güralp Balcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Emrah Yağızkan. The referee ignored Unkapani's protests and gave Ercan Acunalp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Unkapani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercan Acunalp to maneuver through the defense. When Gustavo Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the GALATASARAY SK fans jumped to their feet. GALATASARAY SK's Ali Orhan İhtişam got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Abdulkerim Cintay managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when GALATASARAY SK's Ali Orhan İhtişam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abdulkerim Cintay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Orhan İhtişam in the 85th minute. Ali Orhan İhtişam struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Abdulkerim Cintay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY SK. In the 94th minute, Unkapani's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustavo Telesforo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. GALATASARAY SK played a much better game than Unkapani and deserved their victory. The Unkapani players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
