Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Müfit Yılhan kicked off to start the match. Turgay Yücesan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garip Hepyener having to interfere. The supporters of Kirikkale booed when Catalpinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramazan Namık didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Turgay Yücesan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catalpinar's Garip Hepyener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müfit Yılhan in the 20th minute of play. Garip Hepyener made an important save on a dangerous shot by Turgay Yücesan in the 33rd minute. In the 46th minute, Ramazan Namık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müfit Yılhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Garip Hepyener tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Bilge Hiçsönmez made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Kirikkale's Müfit Yılhan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garip Hepyener was left in no man's land by his defense there! Müfit Yılhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garip Hepyener having to make a save. A collision led to Kirikkale getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Anıl Ozan Yıldırımtürk hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cemalettin Şahinhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirikkale's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemalettin Şahinhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garip Hepyener breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Turgay Yücesan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garip Hepyener was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Haydar Başaydın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgay Yücesan in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garip Hepyener prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turgay Yücesan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garip Hepyener. Garip Hepyener dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saffet Gözlem during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 89 minutes into the match, Catalpinar's Bilge Hiçsönmez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hasan Birtan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Turgay Yücesan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garip Hepyener was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Kirikkale's Turgay Yücesan got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kirikkale's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
