An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Smoothy in the 37th minute of play forced Esentepe JK's goalkeeper Kerem Perver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Darryl Smoothy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kerem Perver was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Can Sazak to make the kick off. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
