With his leg Zikri Tunçboğa managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when GALATASARAY SK's Bayındır Mehmet Taştan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. GALATASARAY SK's Aytek Siraceddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savaş Bozdağ in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute TRC FC were awarded a corner. Macit Nesip went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led TRC FC's Macit Nesip to fire away a dangerous shot which Aytek Siraceddin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY SK defense, Yaşar Ongun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aytek Siraceddin. The GALATASARAY SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aytek Siraceddin should have stopped the shot. Aytek Siraceddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Ongun in the 22nd minute of the match. Zikri Tunçboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Taştan in the 23rd minute of play. If Savaş Bozdağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TRC FC's Savaş Bozdağ got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TRC FC's Sami Geylan got a free kick in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the game, Yaşar Ongun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aytek Siraceddin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bayındır Mehmet Taştan charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bayındır Mehmet Taştan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bayındır Mehmet Taştan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes GALATASARAY SK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Bilge Necmi. After 45 played minutes, TRC FC's Macit Nesip shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aytek Siraceddin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TRC FC reached it.

Aytek Siraceddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirkelam Erşahan in the 55th minute of the match. Yaşar Ongun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Aytek Siraceddin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirkelam Erşahan in the 60th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Aytek Siraceddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaşar Ongun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytek Siraceddin having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play, TRC FC's Yaşar Ongun made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Samir Tayman put in a rough tackle. 86 minutes into the game, one of TRC FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Savaş Bozdağ put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Aytek Siraceddin. GALATASARAY SK's Aytek Siraceddin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY SK from getting a goal against them.
