Altay Kavaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ayvaz Hazar in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marek Raschke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sermet Günaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Lucas Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cihat Egeli's late challenge caught a Gürsu JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihat Egeli helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes ESNAF FK got a freekick which was hit by Cihat Egeli. After a rather tough play, ESNAF FK's Vahit Kutlubay got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Lucas Moura made a precise shot to the right of Altay Kavaş. ESNAF FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. ESNAF FK's Altay Kavaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birsel Karakan in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, one of ESNAF FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birsel Karakan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altay Kavaş saved ESNAF FK from getting behind. Birsel Karakan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Altay Kavaş having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sermet Günaydın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birsel Karakan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Altay Kavaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altay Kavaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birsel Karakan in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Ayvaz Hazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Raschke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. 87 minutes into the match, Lucas Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Altay Kavaş, 1-7. Birsel Karakan in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Altay Kavaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Gürsu JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gürsu JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
