Spectators: 7340 (Terracing: 5450, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Battal Seyyit Orgen kicked off to start the match. Seyhun Ulus came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Ünal Toktaş. But to his dismay, Ünal Toktaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 6 minutes, Hakkı Hoyrat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çamiçi SK and the Galatasaray SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Çamiçi SK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hakkı Hoyrat hit a great ball. When Ünal Toktaş came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Galatasaray SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ünal Toktaş couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakkı Hoyrat got free with Teoman Kurboga in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Mustafa Kemal Hozatlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhun Ulus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ünal Toktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Çamiçi SK got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Cahit Adak. Battal Seyyit Orgen's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Battal Seyyit Orgen helped the player get up and apologised. Battal Seyyit Orgen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Hoyrat came free, but Teoman Kurboga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when Çamiçi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ertaç Avcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seyhun Ulus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andaç Koçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Ünal Toktaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal Hozatlı to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andaç Koçaslan made a kick off. Ünal Toktaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Seyhun Ulus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teoman Kurboga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkin İlsev in the 85th minute of the match.
