After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Ahmet İlhan Hiçyılmaz got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Ali Vedat Haneci threw the ball into play from the sideline. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Hamdullah Hazlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aktuğ Sezgin came out of the goal and Hamdullah Hazlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halil Can Sevgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cemal Bintuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Tufanbeyli got a freekick which was hit by Serdar Turay. Hamdullah Hazlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tufanbeyli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdullah Hazlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner to strike the kick off in the second half. Aktuğ Sezgin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, Tufanbeyli's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner came free, but Halil Can Sevgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Cemal Bintuğ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After some careless play in the Tufanbeyli defense, Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halil Can Sevgen. The Tufanbeyli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Can Sevgen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Vedat Haneci in the 87th minute of play forced Tufanbeyli's goalkeeper Halil Can Sevgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Mehmet Bilge Yetkiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tufanbeyli's Halil Can Sevgen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tufanbeyli booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet İlhan Hiçyılmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktuğ Sezgin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Utkan İlksen's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fenerbahçe could leave the field as winners, despite Tufanbeyli having more of the ball for most of the match.
