In the 20th minute of the match, Mevlüt Akgül tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Halil Utku Samet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 22 minutes, Gürol Akyazıcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurtköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürol Akyazıcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Anamur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Utku Samet should have stopped the shot. Gürol Akyazıcı took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil Utku Samet. Halil Utku Samet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Kurtköy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
