The goalkeeper, Halil Utku Samet, was totally fooled by How I Meet Your Mother's Poyraz Yalazay, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Neşat Dilşah fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anamur's protests and gave Neşat Dilşah a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Anamur getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Neşat Dilşah hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Poyraz Yalazay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Hulusi Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibet Erendiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibet Erendiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neşat Dilşah in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mustafa Arif Arslangiray managed to get in a good position for a shot. How I Meet Your Mother's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hakan Lokman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Anamur eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
