The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kubat Seciye during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Findikli's Kubat Seciye got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Findikli's goal looked a bit too open when Hami Sina came free, but Taci Onursev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Topham hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's Yan Chuan Yu got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sammy Longo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Longo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taci Onursev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Findikli getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. İhsan Patlar hit a great ball. Taci Onursev was a little too slow when Hami Sina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Findikli's Taci Onursev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Findikli from getting a goal against them. Taci Onursev stood somewhat misplaced when Sammy Longo came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Sammy Longos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Taci Onursev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 柯傲阳 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altuğ Yücesan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sammy Longo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 42nd minute shot 4-0 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Efe Şabi in the 46th minute of play forced Findikli's goalkeeper Taci Onursev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sammy Longo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Findikli booed when ANADOLU ERCİYES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenan Fırat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Findikli defense, Hami Sina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taci Onursev. The Findikli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taci Onursev should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Nazil Mücahit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Findikli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANADOLU ERCİYES FC the free kick. Nazil Mücahit kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes ANADOLU ERCİYES FC got a freekick which was hit by Hüsamettin Ulubay. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sammy Longo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taci Onursev saved Findikli from getting behind. After 61 minutes, Sammy Longo made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Findikli's Taci Onursev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hami Sina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Sammy Longo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 柯傲阳 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Altuğ Yücesan in the 72nd minute. If Hami Sina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Taci Onursev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Longo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Phil Topham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Taci Onursev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taci Onursev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Chuan Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Hami Sina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ANADOLU ERCİYES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
