Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yavuzalp Tublek started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Özgün Ongun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palu and the FC Beşiktaş players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Palu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgün Ongun to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şerafettin Ersalmış in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güvenç Geçer saved Palu from getting behind. Caner Yalkı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Güvenç Geçer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birkan Atatuğ during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Beşiktaş booed when Palu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birkan Atatuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taner Hürsel kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Halim Bakırcıoğlu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Güvenç Geçer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Erzincanlı in the 23rd minute of play. Yavuzalp Tubleks short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Aktaç Uralp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 minutes, Hurşit Hendekli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Beşiktaş and the Palu players grew even worse after the yellow card. 34 minutes into the game, Özgün Erzincanlı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Güvenç Geçer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aktaç Uralp made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Yavuzalp Tublek sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes, Yavuzalp Tublek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palu and the FC Beşiktaş players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Palu got a freekick which was hit by Yavuzalp Tublek. 46 minutes into the match, Palu's goal looked a bit too open when Şerafettin Ersalmış came free, but Güvenç Geçer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Palu made a substitution. Tunç Selmi replaced Akif Ege. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şerafettin Ersalmış made a kick off. Hurşit Hendekli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Güvenç Geçer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aktaç Uralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsamettin Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hazar Cambaz hit a great ball. FC Beşiktaş's Aktaç Uralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Selmi in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Palu booed when FC Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şerafettin Ersalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taner Hürsel took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aktaç Uralp. Aktaç Uralp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hurşit Hendekli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Beşiktaş played a much better game than Palu and deserved their victory. The Palu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
