The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Faruk Resul during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Ankara got a freekick which was hit by Ali Faruk Resul. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ali Faruk Resul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankara's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Faruk Resul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aktaç Uralp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes of play, Ankara's Ali Faruk Resul made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aktaç Uralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Ankara booed when FC Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
