The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdulbaki Zihni came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Canavarlar's Varol Mahir. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Varol Mahir scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdulbaki Zihni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şeray Osmanlıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mithat Doğanay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Hasanike FK's goal looked a bit too open when Varol Mahir came free, but Abdulbaki Zihni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canavarlar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
