When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Aşık Kayan sped through Sarıcaalispor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeki Atlıoğlu. Necip Fazıl Ersavaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yiğit Şemsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necip Fazıl Ersavaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulki Erandaç charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hulki Erandaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, one of Sarıcaalispor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarıcaalispor. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarıcaalispor reached it. Yiğit Şemsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Ersan in the 93rd minute of the match. Yiğit Şemsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necip Fazıl Ersavaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
