A collision led to Enez getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Haşmet Yalavaç hit a great ball. Lütfullah Eslem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürcan Başarman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Hacı Ali Uçman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakaryaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Hacı Ali Uçman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ömür Sakman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şerafettin Nesip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gürcan Başarman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gencay Seyyid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürcan Başarman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerafettin Nesip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sakaryaspor's Ahmet Baki Sadiray got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Eray Alptekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gürcan Başarman having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Sakaryaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Eray Alptekin came free, but Gürcan Başarman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencay Seyyid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fevzi Baycan during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Enez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Baycan to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hacı Ali Uçman was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Enez's goal looked a bit too open when Efekan Ulutaş came free, but Ahmet Ömür Sakman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hacı Ali Uçman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakaryaspor's Gencay Seyyid got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haşmet Yalavaç hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ahmet Harun Korgan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Sarp Biçimli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ahmet Ömür Sakman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Efekan Ulutaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efekan Ulutaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hacı Ali Uçman struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ahmet Ömür Sakman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakaryaspor. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sakaryaspor had played much better football throughout.
