In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Quenta's goalkeeper Levent Kale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Levent Kale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayberk Teber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Quenta defense, Ayberk Teber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Levent Kale. The FC Quenta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Levent Kale should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd match minute, Denizlispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baycan Özarkın to maneuver through the defense. Habib Akgüneş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fatih Baştuğ's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Levent Kale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Koralp İzgü in the 37th minute of the match. FC Quenta's Levent Kale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayberk Teber in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayberk Teber in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Quenta's goalkeeper Levent Kale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayberk Teber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levent Kale having to interfere. Levent Kale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Teber in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ayberk Teber was the one to do the kick off. If Ahmet Koralp İzgü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 54 in the game by Ayberk Teber from a close distance when the talented Levent Kale managed to make a qualified save. FC Quenta's players were relieved.
