The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Onur İpçi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enginsu Türek in the 4th minute of the match. Arın Gürler hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. FC Quenta's players were relieved. Sacit Karin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levent Kale having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Mustafa Ekrem Çetintürk sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Levent Kale threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Mustafa Ekrem Çetintürk this time. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Quenta. If Fatih Baştuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Quenta's zone, Mücahit Buğdaycı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Kale came out of the goal and Mücahit Buğdaycı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fatih Baştuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes, Sacit Karin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altunizade and the FC Quenta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sacit Karin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Altunizade's Mustafa Ekrem Çetintürk made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levent Kale was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arcan Hükümran during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
