The supporters of KELKITSPOR booed when Sögüt FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfun Aynacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saffet Türkyılmaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayfun Aynacı in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Sögüt FK got a freekick which was hit by Asaf Baydar. Alpay İribaş made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KELKITSPOR's Tuna Arkın. Ergincan Necat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Saffet Türkyılmaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

KELKITSPOR's Eralp Başbuğoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saffet Türkyılmaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Özdeğer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Oğuz Yalaza in the 59th minute of play forced KELKITSPOR's goalkeeper Saffet Türkyılmaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asaf Baydar took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saffet Türkyılmaz. Saffet Türkyılmaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Saffet Türkyılmaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Oğuz Yalaza's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. KELKITSPOR's Saffet Türkyılmaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Oğuz Yalaza in the 75th minute of play. Eralp Başbuğoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ahmet Orhan Eker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sögüt FK's Asaf Baydar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ahmet Oğuz Yalaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saffet Türkyılmaz having to interfere. KELKITSPOR's attentive Tuna Arkın managed to snatch the ball when Alpay İribaş made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Oğuz Yalaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sögüt FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
