Selcuk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nasir Vahip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Ahmet Nasir Vahip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kürşat Demirkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selcuk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
