Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Askale's Refik Halit Veli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Nasir Vahip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turabi Güdü having to interfere. Ahmet Nasir Vahip took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turabi Güdü. Turabi Güdü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Refik Halit Veli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mehmet Halis Şahinhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Askale's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Halis Şahinhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songur Suer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duran Koç hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Askale's goalkeeper Turabi Güdü, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burç Torcan charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burç Torcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Burç Torcan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Turabi Güdü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Vahip, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Selcuk's goal looked a bit too open when Refik Halit Veli came free, but Songur Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Selcuk got a freekick which was hit by Genco Gökyüzü. In the 33rdth minute of the game Refik Halit Veli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selcuk's Songur Suer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turabi Güdü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkan Sabit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Erkan Sabit made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Askale's Turabi Güdü tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Koç to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erkan Sabit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Refik Halit Veli in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Songur Suer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Talip Oymen during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Talip Oymen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Suat Özakıncı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Songur Suer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Askale's Mehmet Halis Şahinhan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Songur Suer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Selcuk defense, Refik Halit Veli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songur Suer. The Selcuk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songur Suer should have stopped the shot. Songur Suer came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Askale's Mehmet Halis Şahinhan. But to his dismay, Mehmet Halis Şahinhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Nasir Vahip got free with Turabi Güdü in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Selcuk's Ahmet Nasir Vahip in 78 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Turabi Güdü guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 85 minutes into the game, Refik Halit Veli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Songur Suer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Songur Suer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Şahinhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Songur Suer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refik Halit Veli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turabi Güdü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkan Sabit in the 91st minute of the match. During the 92nd minute of the match Burç Torcan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Burç Torcan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Askale's Burç Torcan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Turabi Güdü made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ahmet Nasir Vahip sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Koç to maneuver through the defense. Selcuk's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
