Özkan Ortunc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartal Derelioğlu in the 41st minute of the match. Erbatur İlkim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Özkan Ortunc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kartal Derelioğlu made a kick off. Özkan Ortunc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erbatur İlkim in the 57th minute of play. Özkan Ortunc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kartal Derelioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Orhan Veli Ermiye ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özkan Ortunc was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Aytekin Albayrak fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. If Hüsnü Canpolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hüsnü Canpolat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gümüşhane FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüsnü Canpolat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ege Timurkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Gümüşhane FK's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Ermiye came free, but Özkan Ortunc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özkan Ortunc came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by BİLGE FC's Erbatur İlkim. But to his dismay, Erbatur İlkim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Hüsnü Canpolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bozkurt Mecnun hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind BİLGE FC's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Timurkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erdeniz Özdurdu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Andaç Akil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Özkan Ortunc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kartal Derelioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Orhan Veli Ermiye made a precise shot to the right of Özkan Ortunc. Gümüşhane FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
