Nurkan Sökmensu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Özkan Ortunc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, İrfan Şiraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cakirlar SK's Göktürk Akoğul got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Behçet Sayrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Cakirlar SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nurkan Sökmensu made a kick off. Özkan Ortunc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurkan Sökmensu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özkan Ortunc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurkan Sökmensu in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Engin Mahçup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özkan Ortunc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nurkan Sökmensu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gümüşhane FK's Özkan Ortunc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Gümüşhane FK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Gümüşhane FK's Özkan Ortunc got control of the ball when Göktürk Akoğul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Özkan Ortunc came out and tried to block the shot, but Nurkan Sökmensu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 93rd minute. Cakirlar SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
