The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Artun Akgöze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartlomiej Borowski was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Şimşek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Akatlar JK:s goal. The referee gave Akatlar JK a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zülfü Saltık, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Şimşek's Bartlomiej Borowski. 1-1. The wind increased when Artun Akgöze made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gabriel Post managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Şimşek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Post was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Post could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Samim Vefa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nazım Zorlu got free with Samim Vefa in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Şimşek's goal looked a bit too open when Artun Akgöze came free, but Bartlomiej Borowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samim Vefa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazım Zorlu went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Şimşek booed when Akatlar JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taner Arkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Posts short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Samim Vefa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Samim Vefa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bozkurt Topçay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Akatlar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Post came free, but Samim Vefa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kılıçalp Akalın in the 76th minute of play forced Şimşek's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Borowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdurrahman Yıldız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samim Vefa was a little too slow when Alpertunga Buyrukalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-5. The Akatlar JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Şimşek were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
