Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Ali Köken kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Köse getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ant Mürşit hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Köse's zone, Kubilay Tuğsav stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahit Hekimoğlu came out of the goal and Kubilay Tuğsav tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kubilay Tuğsav sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anıl Baran Tuğkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Kubilay Tuğsav had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vahit Hekimoğlu. Köse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kubilay Tuğsav was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Ahmet Ali Köken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İskenderun FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ali Köken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Köse's goalkeeper Vahit Hekimoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Ali Köken kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sabri Zübeyir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertuğrul Tolun having to interfere. İskenderun FK's Kubilay Tuğsav got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ertuğrul Tolun came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Köse's İhsan Yücesan. But to his dismay, İhsan Yücesan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 35th minute, Sabri Zübeyir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ant Mürşit charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ant Mürşit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Köse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of İskenderun FK:s goal. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for İskenderun FK. Ahmet Ali Köken stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vahit Hekimoğlu. 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Sabri Zübeyir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eralp Yalavaç struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ertuğrul Tolun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köse.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kadir Karadağ was the one to do the kick off. Kubilay Tuğsav sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İhsan Yücesan in the 72nd minute of play forced İskenderun FK's goalkeeper Ertuğrul Tolun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Köse's goal looked a bit too open when Kubilay Tuğsav came free, but Vahit Hekimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ertuğrul Tolun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İhsan Yücesan in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Anıl Baran Özercan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the İskenderun FK and the Köse players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes İskenderun FK got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Baran Özercan. 90 minutes into the match, İskenderun FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kadir Karadağ came free, but Ertuğrul Tolun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kadir Karadağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertuğrul Tolun having to interfere. İskenderun FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
