Mehmet Şefik Nesil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Latif Ekşioğlu in the 5th minute of the match. Aykan Erkılınç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahadır Arpacı in the 7th minute. When Latif Ekşioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atasehir's protests and gave Latif Ekşioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Erkilet SK made a substitution. Bayram Hepyener replaced Süreyya Çalapover. Namık Yalçuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aykan Erkılınç made a huge save. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atasehir's goalkeeper Aykan Erkılınç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atasehir's Aykan Erkılınç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullatif Ulunay in the 32nd minute of play. If Mehmet Hamdi Kudret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Atasehir's goalkeeper Aykan Erkılınç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bahadır Arpacı. Aykan Erkılınç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahadır Arpacı in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Atasehir's Aykan Erkılınç got control of the ball when Bahadır Arpacı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Namık Yalçuk hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Abdullatif Ulunay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aykan Erkılınç, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bora Han Kadem made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Nurkan Uraltay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aykan Erkılınç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atasehir's Aykan Erkılınç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Yalçuk in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Abdullatif Ulunay notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atasehir's Aykan Erkılınç. Aykan Erkılınç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aykan Erkılınç was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Nurkan Uraltay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Erkılınç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Erkilet SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökberk Yetişbey to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Namık Yalçuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Erkilet SK fully deserved thier win.
