After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ceyhan Umurbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayyolu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceyhan Umurbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Bilge Özkent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melih Sara got free with Mehmet Bilge Özkent in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melih Sara came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mehmet Bilge Özkent could save by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, Melih Sara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mehmet Bilge Özkent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Özmen Bakırhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlet Karan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Ceyhan Umurbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayyolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhan Umurbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Melih Sara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Bilge Özkent. The goal made the score 3-0. The throw-in from Mustafa Ali Akgüneş in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gümüssuyu SK's Ünsal Yazar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devlet Karan in the 42nd minute of play forced Cayyolu's goalkeeper Özmen Bakırhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceyhan Umurbay took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Bilge Özkent. Mehmet Bilge Özkent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

Nuralp Sezgin's late challenge caught a Cayyolu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Bilge Özkent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Sara in the 71st minute of play. Mehmet Bilge Özkent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Sara in the 82nd minute of the match. Gümüssuyu SK's Mehmet Bilge Özkent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melih Sara in the 92nd minute of play. There was no doubt that Cayyolu were the better team. Cayyolu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
