Cemalettin Yamaner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertuğrul Tolun having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, İskenderun FK's Kubilay Tuğsav nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafer Akyüz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Yaser Erandaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ertuğrul Tolun was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, kartal KANATLILAR's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ali Köken came free, but Cafer Akyüz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

İskenderun FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kubilay Tuğsav was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The kartal KANATLILAR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching İskenderun FK's performance. The match ended with a win for İskenderun FK.
