An unexpectedly hard shot by Namık Yalçuk in the 24th minute of play forced Köse's goalkeeper Vahit Hekimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Erkilet SK's Abdullatif Ulunay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vahit Hekimoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Erkilet SK booed when Köse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ant Mürşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Rıfat Tamkoç hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Namık Yalçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
