Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdullatif Ulunay took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Erkilet SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tayfun Hızlı came free, but Mehmet Şefik Nesil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykutalp Özboga to maneuver through the defense. Tayfun Hızlı scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Şefik Nesil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Abdullatif Ulunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahadır Arpacı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Erkilet SK's Bahadır Arpacı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şener Akatay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Erkilet SK got a corner. Beşiktaş's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bahadır Arpacı ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Bahadır Arpacı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay did a great save. Mehmet Şefik Nesil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sait Türkoğlu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökberk Yetişbey in the 37th minute of play forced Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Şener Akatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahadır Arpacı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şener Akatay having to interfere. Abdullatif Ulunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Beşiktaş's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdullatif Ulunay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bahadır Arpacı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şener Akatay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. If Abdullatif Ulunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Metehan Nedret made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Abdullatif Ulunay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erkilet SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdullatif Ulunay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Alp Akşit. Beşiktaş's Şener Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullatif Ulunay in the 53rd minute of play. Bahadır Arpacı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahadır Arpacı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şener Akatay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Mehmet Şefik Nesil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Nedret in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Metehan Nedret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Şefik Nesil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aykutalp Özboga charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aykutalp Özboga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Namık Yalçuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şener Akatay having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bahadır Arpacı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erkilet SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahadır Arpacı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şener Akatay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Şefik Nesil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Nedret in the 71st minute of play. Abdullatif Ulunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şener Akatay having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Beşiktaş's zone, Namık Yalçuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şener Akatay came out of the goal and Namık Yalçuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş's Sarper Eronat got a free kick in the 77th minute. Şener Akatay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullatif Ulunay, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aykutalp Özboga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mehmet Şefik Nesil. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Zülfü Dündar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beşiktaş's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erkilet SK the free kick. Şener Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdullatif Ulunay in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Beşiktaş's zone, Abdullatif Ulunay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şener Akatay came out of the goal and Abdullatif Ulunay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Bahadır Arpacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Nurkan Uraltay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erkilet SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Namık Yalçuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Şener Akatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Erkilet SK had been in control for most of the match, Beşiktaş still came away with the win.
