After 11 played minutes Karagümrük got a freekick which was hit by King Ferdinand. In the 15thth minute of the game King Ferdinand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sögütözü's Balamir Pirane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. King Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Balamir Pirane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. King Ferdinand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Balamir Pirane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Sögütözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Ziya Biçim to maneuver through the defense. Balamir Pirane made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Saadettin Uluman sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling King Ferdinand in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balamir Pirane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balamir Pirane made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Saadettin Uluman sent off a good shot on target. Saadettin Uluman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Balamir Pirane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Behzat Neşat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karagümrük and the Sögütözü players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Karagümrük getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Behzat Neşat hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Saadettin Uluman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Balamir Pirane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Karagümrük booed when Sögütözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Ziya Biçim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The Karagümrük fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Karagümrük's Saadettin Uluman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Balamir Pirane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Balamir Pirane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saadettin Uluman in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Karagümrük getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Behzat Neşat hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Efekan Ulubay sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Hamdullah Gezer threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Efekan Ulubay this time. Balamir Pirane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saadettin Uluman in the 63rd minute of the match. Saadettin Uluman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Balamir Pirane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Biçim hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 84thth minute of the game King Ferdinand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sögütözü's Balamir Pirane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Karagümrük getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Saadettin Uluman hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Yüksel Rasim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Balamir Pirane was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karagümrük fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sögütözü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
