Saffet İnanç's late challenge caught a Cankatylcn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saffet İnanç helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Akyaka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cankatylcn:s goal. The goalkeeper, İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu, was totally fooled by Cankatylcn's Murathan Şahiner, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sufi Cezlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mansur Tanacan in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu saved Akyaka from getting behind. After 18 minutes of play, Akyaka's Ogün Özmert made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saruhan Işılay was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Akyaka's Ogün Özmert in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cankatylcn's goalie prevented a goal. İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mansur Tanacan's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Mehmet Oğuz Kalagay charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Oğuz Kalagay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Akyaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Oğuz Kalagay to maneuver through the defense. Mansur Tanacan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A well placed Mansur Tanacan short distance shot in the 34th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After a defensive mix-up in Cankatylcn's zone, Aybars Ege stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saruhan Işılay came out of the goal and Aybars Ege tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Güralp Şensoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saruhan Işılay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Afşar Samin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mansur Tanacan to make the kick off. Batuhan Nadir made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aybars Ege however managed to control. Mansur Tanacan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mansur Tanacan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aybars Ege kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansur Tanacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Güralp Şensoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saruhan Işılay having to interfere. When Mehmet Oğuz Kalagay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. In the 68th match minute, Akyaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Oğuz Kalagay to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Engin Altunç in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cankatylcn's Özer Ezelhan. In the 74th minute, Mansur Tanacan made a precise shot to the right of İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu. Akyaka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Mansur Tanacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansur Tanacan in the 88th minute of play forced Akyaka's goalkeeper İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Mansur Tanacan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akyaka's İsmail Orhun Sabuncuoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akyaka's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cankatylcn had won, even though Akyaka had held more of the ball.
