Ulvi Kayral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Aykan Rehber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Ali Karginalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aykan Rehber came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Ali Karginalp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. karşıyakaspor's Necmi Zeyrek got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derman Zahir's late challenge caught a karşıyakaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derman Zahir helped the player get up and apologised. Derman Zahir kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Bahcesehir's goal looked a bit too open when Necmi Zeyrek came free, but Aykan Rehber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmi Zeyrek in the 15th minute of play forced Bahcesehir's goalkeeper Aykan Rehber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necmi Zeyrek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aykan Rehber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Burç Gençoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Anıl Çile was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Kamber Yazır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derman Zahir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aykan Rehber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuat Özhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Bahcesehir got a freekick which was hit by Derman Zahir. In the 38th minute of the match Saadettin Dönmez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aykan Rehber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Şimşek Ulum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahcesehir and the karşıyakaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bahcesehir getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Şimşek Ulum hit a great ball. Burç Gençoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aykan Rehber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmi Zeyrek in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burç Gençoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Bahcesehir's Bektaş Veli Uygu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mehmet Anıl Çile came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahcesehir reached it. In the 54th minute, Burç Gençoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Burç Gençoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bektaş Veli Uygu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Mehmet Anıl Çile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökay Uyar in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Arda Ozan Torcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmi Zeyrek in the 67th minute of play forced Bahcesehir's goalkeeper Aykan Rehber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykan Rehber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmi Zeyrek in the 71st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Bahcesehir got a freekick which was hit by Arda Ozan Torcan. Aykan Rehber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuat Özhan in the 85th minute of play. If Burç Gençoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Bahcesehir's Gökay Uyar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Aykan Rehber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmi Zeyrek in the 95th minute of the match. The Bahcesehir players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented karşıyakaspor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
