In the 42nd minute, Hamdullah Ulucan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Erdi Dirayet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engin Sağbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half MardinSpor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MardinSpor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
