The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute of the match Göktas FK got a corner. Real Dünya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yakup Kadri Perinçek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yakup Kadri Perinçek made a great header on Göktas FK's corner, it was just that Real Dünya's Naim Tayguner managed to reach the ball for a save. Yaser Battal charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 34th match minute, Real Dünya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by kaya Erboğa to maneuver through the defense. Macit İstemihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atak Tunçöven in the 36th minute of play. If Seyfettin Temren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seyfettin Temren during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Seyfettin Temren hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Seyfettin Temren was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 44th match minute, Real Dünya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfettin Temren to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atak Tunçöven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Besim Taha mouthed his way into the referee's book. Göktas FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Atak Tunçöven 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. 76 minutes into the match, Atak Tunçöven dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Macit İstemihan, 0-2. If kaya Erboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Atak Tunçöven fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Dünya's protests and gave Atak Tunçöven a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Real Dünya got a freekick which was hit by Atak Tunçöven. Naim Tayguner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yetkin Altın in the 82nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Dünya had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
