Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Engin Sağbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemal Onkal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Kemal Onkal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MALTEPE UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kemal Onkal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alkın İnanç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, İlbey Sanih notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MALTEPE UTD's Aycan İnan. Aycan İnan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Alkın İnanç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alkın İnanç's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Engin Sağbilge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kemal Onkal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İlbey Sanih took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aycan İnan. Aycan İnan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Güney Algın managed to get in a good position for a shot. MardinSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Güney Algın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aycan İnan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, İlbey Sanih notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of MALTEPE UTD's Aycan İnan. Aycan İnan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Uskan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of MALTEPE UTD booed when MardinSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinçer Isfahanlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, MardinSpor's Ahmet Uskan made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aycan İnan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Kemal Onkal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Engin Sağbilge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alkın İnanç in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alkın İnanç was the one to do the kick off. If Kemal Onkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the MardinSpor defense, Alkın İnanç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Engin Sağbilge. The MardinSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Engin Sağbilge should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as MardinSpor's İlbey Sanih slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aycan İnan. That made the score 1-5 after 58 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, MALTEPE UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Cevahir Canser came free, but Aycan İnan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkın İnanç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Engin Sağbilge having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Kemal Onkal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MALTEPE UTD's Alkın İnanç got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MALTEPE UTD's Aycan İnan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlbey Sanih in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkın İnanç in the 78th minute of play forced MardinSpor's goalkeeper Engin Sağbilge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Ahmet Uskan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MardinSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MALTEPE UTD the free kick. Ahmet Uskan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Alkın İnanç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Engin Sağbilge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkın İnanç in the 83rd minute of the match. Engin Sağbilge came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by MALTEPE UTD's Kemal Onkal. But to his dismay, Kemal Onkal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Alkın İnanç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Engin Sağbilge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alkın İnanç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play, MALTEPE UTD's Alkın İnanç made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Engin Sağbilge was left in no man's land by his defense there!
