Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adem Taştan kicked off to start the match. Cevat Saatçioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ahmet Ali Irgatbaşı made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Adem Taştan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yüksel Adaş. Güzelyali's Ahmet Ali Irgatbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bedri Dilhun in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Alaplı FK got a freekick which was hit by Cevat Saatçioğlu. Alaplı FK's Yüksel Adaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Bedri Helvacı in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute Mehmet Bedri Helvacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yüksel Adaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ali Irgatbaşı was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Cevat Saatçioğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cevat Saatçioğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Atıf Mengücek hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ahmet Nafiz Hoyrat hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Mehmet Bedri Helvacı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güzelyali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alaplı FK the free kick. After 40 played minutes Güzelyali got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bedri Helvacı. Ahmet Ali Irgatbaşı came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alaplı FK's Cevat Saatçioğlu. But to his dismay, Cevat Saatçioğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevat Saatçioğlu got free with Ahmet Ali Irgatbaşı in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Abay As's late challenge caught a Güzelyali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abay As helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alaplı FK's Abay As got a free kick in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Göksel Özaktuğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alaplı FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Güzelyali the free kick. The supporters of Güzelyali booed when Alaplı FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göksel Özaktuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adem Taştan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Göksel Özaktuğ was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 67th minute Doğan Erdoğdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yüksel Adaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cevat Saatçioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Alaplı FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevat Saatçioğlu couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Ali Irgatbaşı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevat Saatçioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adem Taştan in the 75th minute of play forced Alaplı FK's goalkeeper Yüksel Adaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yüksel Adaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adem Taştan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Mehmet Bedri Helvacı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güzelyali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Bedri Helvacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kubilay Torgay hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Many of Güzelyali's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Güzelyali may have spent more time on the ball, but Alaplı FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
